Darlene Wagner - Internal Finance Manager
Well versed in Condominium and Real Estate matters Darlene has the fortune of being experienced in every aspect of Real Estate Management from Operations to Finance. Darlene and her team oversee all of our clients accounting and monthly reporting. With over 20 years of direct hands on Accounting and Reporting experience, including audit preparations, investment tracking, fiscal and operating budget reviews and assembly, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparations, Darlene provides a solid and detailed foundation for all of Asset West's clients financial reporting needs. Darlene's past experience also includes 7 years of experience as Board Chair and Board Secretary of her own condominium, as well as her past position with Asset West as our Condominium Portfolio's Community Manager. Darlene has also completed and earned her PM1000 (Property Manager Agent’s License), and is a licensed Associated with ASSET WEST.
Dave Palmer - Residential Property & Leasing Manager
With over 25 years in the hospitality industry, combined with hands on operating knowledge of both rental pools and investment property, Dave oversees all aspects of the Leasing and Residential Investment Property Portfolio Operations. Property Inspections, Maintenance reviews, Lease and Rent Increase schedules and reviews are just the tip of the iceberg for Dave. A warm smile, combined with a “lets get it done” approach, every property, owner and tenant receives unparalled attention.
As a community minded person, Dave is also actively engaged in ROTARY International, and sits on the Board of Directors for the Canmore Eagles Hockey team (a provincial Junior A Hockey league).
Brent Pickard, Ph.D - External Services, Condominium Portfolio Canmore
Joining our team in April 2005, Brent works with our condominium clients overseeing the preparation of landscaping, snow removal & window cleaning tenders and contract performance reviews, By-law reviews and enforcement, as well as specialized projects such as assisting condominium Board of Directors with updating of their associations By-laws.
A past and current member of his own condominium’s Board of Directors, as well as his extensive back ground in management and administration, Brent brings an effective and efficient approach to addressing external condominium matters.
Aidan Kutcher - Operations Manager (Calgary)
Working directly within our Calgary Portfolio, Aidan helps to ensure all aspects of the portfolio are taken care of. From Property Inspections and Co-ordination of trades, to assisting our Condominium Board of Directors with their meetings, agenda’s and action plans. With a background in both Construction and Real Estate, Aidan brings a practical approach to management.
Shane Hewitt - Internet Presence & Systems Manager
Involved with Asset West since its inception, Shane and his team have over seen the design and implementation of our internet presence, as well as assisting with and continually being apart of our proactive ?think tank? as we continually thrive to provide and roll out greater customer service options and abilities. With a solid background in the communications and customer service industry that spans close to 10 years Shane is always looking for the next step of efficiency to assist both our clients and the Asset West team.
Melanie Silverstone Condominium Assistant
Joining Asset West in 2006 as part of our continued growth, Melanie works directly within our Condominium Portfolio helping to ensure all aspects of condominium administrative as addressed quickly and effectively.
Val Kildaw - Accounting Assistant
With a solid background in accounting, Val assists with all aspects of the accounting cycle, from assisting with receivables, deposits and arrears review, to payables, bank reconciliations, and the preparation of condominium estoppel certificates.
Lyndsey Wilson - Executive Assistant
Joining Asset West in 2007, Lyndsey works in Operations reporting to our Portfolio Manager/Managing Director, assisting with client queries, preparation of owner documents, maintenance requests, lease document preparation, as well as assisting in all areas of Client Services. With a solid background in Customer Service, Lyndsey helps to ensure our clients are taken care of effectively and efficiently.
